Privacy policy

Touchline stores match records and preferences on your devices. No account is required. The app contains no advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs, and sends no match or fitness data to a developer-operated server.

Optional fitness recording

When you enable Match workout on Apple Watch, Touchline requests permission to read heart rate, save a workout to Apple Health, and use location for route, distance, and speed. You can decline these permissions and still time matches and record events.

Local fitness summaries can include heart rate, distance, timestamps, and GPS route points. They are transferred between your paired Watch and iPhone using Apple WatchConnectivity. Touchline excludes its local fitness folder from device backups.

Control and deletion

Manage Health access in the Health app and location access in device Settings. Clear finished matches in Touchline to delete their reports and local fitness summaries from paired devices when they next sync. This preserves an active match and does not delete workouts already saved in Apple Health.

Exporting a match report uses the system share sheet. The destination you choose receives the report contents. Include player names or numbers only when appropriate for your competition.

Apple services

Apple controls Health, device pairing, system backups, and any diagnostics you choose to share with Apple. Touchline does not use your health data for advertising or sell your personal data.

Optional purchases and tips

Apple processes in-app cosmetic purchases and tips. Touchline checks verified transactions on the iPhone and sends your selected look to the paired Watch. No match, health or location data is sent with a purchase. Touchline does not receive your card or bank details.

Website tips use Stripe’s hosted checkout. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy policy. We may receive transaction details such as your name, email address, amount, currency and payment status through Stripe for payment records and support. Touchline does not receive full card details. No match, player, health or location data is added to the checkout link. Website tips do not unlock cosmetics.

This website

This site uses no advertising, analytics scripts, tracking cookies or sign-up forms. The interactive examples and cosmetic previews run in memory and are not saved. The Stripe tip link opens an external checkout; Stripe may use its own cookies and services on that page. The hosting service processes requests to deliver and secure the site, which may include technical information such as your IP address. The hosted review version may require a ChatGPT sign-in managed by the hosting provider.
